Julie has been in the skin care industry since 2008. She has worked for small businesses, corporations, med spas, waxing centers, skin care stores and more. She has been in management, worked as an esthetician, an educator and more.
She opened up ADARA in 2017 with a commitment to educate estheticians and our community. The results ADARA has created for over 8,000 people in the DMV in unmatched.
In 2019, her son was born and she started to create her own skin care line with a chemist in southern california.
Fast forward to 2023, she educates estheticians and medspa owners all over the united states at skin care conferences. She has created a post treatment line, red light therapy devices and is currently working on creating a chemical peel.

BABAK BEHSETA, MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Dr. Behseta completed his undergraduate degree as the #1 graduate in his class before pursuing Emergency Medicine with an interest in dermatologic emergencies, wound care, and exacerbations of existing skin conditions. He has ample experience with not only the common conditions ranging from typical acne, dermatitis, burns, and allergic I, but also to more chronic conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and long-term wounds.
Outside of his work life, you can find Dr. Behseta in Arlington’s local parks playing pickup basketball and soccer with the other locals, running on the Mount Vernon Trail, or reading his newest library book. And he always wears UV sun protection on those extra sunny days.
As a registered nurse of over 20 years, my mission is to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to provide clients with the best outcomes possible.
I began my career in obstetrics and labor and delivery for over 15 years. My passion was to care for both mother and baby during one of the most memorable times in their lives. As I had children of my own I transitioned into medical aesthetics, IV therapy when medically indicated in a patient’s home, and also managing a health services department of 25 RN's and LVN's.
At Adara, I am able to leverage my clinical expertise to lead our nurses in enhancing client standards and experiences. Our goal at Adara is to provide our clients with the best medical aesthetic experience while meeting our client's personal health and beauty goals.
